A Survivor's Reminder

A Survivor's Reminder was my original animation for my BFA thesis project. It is a four and a half minute fight scene animation between a sunken sailor named Hidori and a Kaiju crab sea monster named Kar'r'gra. For context, Hidori was a sailor on a notorious well mannered pirate ship that had liberated him from an abusive orphanage. He grew up on the ship that was sunk by Kar'r'gra and only survived due to his race's ability to breath underwater. Using a sword forged together with the icy spirits of his now dead crew and the pieces of his ship, Hidori takes on the gargantuan sea beast in one on one combat.

Welcome to the Benefactor's Tent!
April 2026
The first of my works for my MFA Thesis. This scene follows the character who we see the whole scene from the POV of running through a haunted woods from a werewolf assailant. he stumbles upon a mystical tent where the owner is a wacky cloaked figure who refers to himself as the Benefactor. He scares off the werewolf and offers our POV his magical wears. The POV finds a book that is currently writing the story of the main cast in real time. The Benefactor offers the POV that if he acts as a focus group for his book he will grant one wish!
